White Light Circus
"Interrupted Time" is another burst of blinding light from the White Light Circus, the astronomical nom de plume of Dean Meredith, also known as one half of Chicken Lips alongside Andy Meecham (aka The Emperor Machine) and Goat Dance. This particular glimpse of the White Light Circus further charts the movement of this unique and strange constellation. The third cosmic event to be captured by the DC Recordings observatory, it displays the same dense textures glimpsed in the "Rocket Ride" (DCR71) and "Marching Orders" (DCR62) nebulae. "Interrupted Time" is the result of fast moving dark matter colliding with slow moving sonic bursts to form dense clusters of discoid energy and a particularly virulent strain of bass fuzz. Further inside the White Light Circus, the slowly pulsing "Secret Operator" is gradually breaking down over time into an electro vortex, a spinning whorl of strange emissions that leaves the listener spinning in a non-gravitational void.
