Dean Meredith’s prolific musical career began as part of 80’s dance music legends Bizarre Inc, best known for UK number 1 “Playing With Knives”. Since then he has continued working with long term Bizarre Inc co-producer Andy Meecham (The Emperor Machine) as underground nu-disco pioneers Chicken Lips, and punk-funk reprobates Big Two Hundred.

His solo projects have taken on many different guises – Rogue Cat, Randee Jean, Zeefungk, Goat Dance on Steve Kotey’s Bear Funk label, and most recently the cosmic nom de plume for which he records for DC Recordings - White Light Circus.

Blending elements of early electro and disco with a healthy dose of the kosmische, influences as diverse as Silver Apples, Frank Zappa, Sly & Robbie, Yellow Magic Orchestra and Wigan Casino jostle for attention and somehow produce Meredith’s dazzling and harmonious blend of music.

Remixes for the likes of Chicks On Speed, Sebastien Tellier, Madonna, Underworld, Chikinki, Wolf Mother, Mark Ronson, Maurice Fulton, Josh Wink, Tiga and Playgroup have enforced his reputation as a cutting edge producer who is favored by artists of the most discerning caliber, and kept his finger on the pulse of the most discnering club music around.

Meredith is currently working on chicken lips 4th artist album, - “chicken lips malfunction!” plus a compilation of chicken lips remixes, plus a whole host of white light circus new material, a goat dance debut album, not to mention the launch of his own record label & of course more remixes!
